【剧情简介】

    林亚珍﹝萧芳芳﹞四处找工作，但照例是碰得一鼻子灰，闹出不少笑话。幸而事业失意，情场方面却前所未有的春风得意。在一次偶然的重逢之后，她的儿时同伴曾非凡﹝许冠英﹞向她展开猛烈追求。但林亚珍对恋爱拍拖之事毫无感觉，更不懂浪漫，使曾非凡顿感失落。

    一个名为「沙达」的集团，正在以高价疯狂收购香港地皮，以「大鱼吃小鱼」战略牟取暴利。林亚珍本其一贯敢作敢为且富有正义感的性格，不肯袖手旁观，遂也被卷入漩涡，甚至被集团杀手追踪，性命亦受到威胁…



【关于影片】

    这是嘉禾电影公司在八十年代初的一部实验喜剧，仍旧延续着许氏喜剧的市井风格，并以群星加盟作为卖点。吴宇森此时正在嘉禾度过自己最艰难的一段考察期，对商业喜剧的把握显然并不是他的强项。而这部被寄予厚望的喜剧，并没有创造可观的票房，败给了新艺城的同期力作《提防小手》。萧芳芳的喜剧形象是影片最大的看点之一，这位七十年代红极一时的邵氏女星，从美国返港后几乎是自毁形象走起了喜剧路线。
